BRINGING PRODUCTS & BRANDS TO LIFE

Engaging design, meaningful experiences

Clay approaches every project with his own unique point of view – a magical aesthetic characterized by a love of color, bold playfulness and the unexpected. Whether designing a product or immersive environment, Clay’s signature style has led to a highly successful career in the lifestyle and fashion segments. Clay has worked with some of the most recognized brands in the world such as House Beautiful, Martha Stewart, Warner Bros., Kate Spade and Burberry. He has also been called upon by best-in-class companies such as Neiman Marcus and Disney to head initiatives in retail, product development, merchandising and marketing. Clay credits his long-term success as a designer to his commitment to a simple rule: “No detail is ever too small, as nothing ever goes unnoticed by an increasingly discerning customer.” It’s this attention to detail that makes his designs so unforgettable.

Clay’s passion for global culture translates into his designs. Through his trend-scouting trips across continents, he finds inspiration around every turn, from the colors on the tiles of the Taj Mahal, to shapes on ceramics found in London antique shops to patterns on fabrics scoured from Paris flea markets and bazaars in Chiang Mai.
Clay has an innate talent for creating experiences that connect with people. He is able to tell stories through material, color and patterns that resonate with others and drives them to form an emotional attachment to products and environments. The melding of art, fashion, nature and color is the essence of Clay’s creative vision.
Clay is currently at work on a new proprietary color and trend forecasting service to be made available to the retail, fashion, entertainment, restaurant, automotive and healthcare industries.
